Collecting packages at any sub-office you will need the tracking number or package Notice, valid photo identification and invoice/receipts for any goods received so that we can help you with the Customs duty process. Â
If you do not have an invoice/receipts for goods please consider the following alternatives:
- Contact the sender for receipts or invoice listing goods and prices paid; or
- Find the exact item on the website or a reasonable likeness of the item with the price; or
- Create a generic invoice for goods listing the sender’s address, your address, description of items and price paid in the applicable currency. Please note: generic invoices must list the cost of goods at fair market value and could be subject to review; or
- The Bermuda Post Office’s, Customer Service Representative can help you value the goods using the internet for similar items at a fair market value. This process takes a while depending on the number of items and ease of search. This alternative is the least recommended as it delays other customers who are waiting for service.
